DriverGuide maintains an extensive archive of Windows drivers available for free download. We employ a team from around the world which adds hundreds of new drivers to our site every day. How to Install Drivers Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

The Driver Update Utility automatically finds, downloads and installs the right driver for your hardware and operating system. It will Update all of your drivers in just a few clicks, and even backup your drivers before making any changes.
We develop network components used in motherboards and network adapters sold by original equipment manufacturers (OEM) such as Dell, HP, Gateway, or IBM. Network connections built into the motherboard or network adapters sold by an OEM are supported by the OEM. We do not support OEM integrated network connections, mobile connections, or OEM adapters.
We offer a complete line of industry-leading single- and multiport 10 gigabit, gigabit, and fast Ethernet controllers with integrated MAC and PHY for high performance, low power consumption, and a smaller footprint. With 10 Gbps, 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps network connections, PCI Express* (PCIe), PCI, PCI-X, or LCI bus interfaces, 16-, 32-, or 64-bit architecture, we produce Ethernet controllers that enable faster, smaller, and simpler designs.
This value delays the generation of receive interrupts in units of 1.024microseconds. Receive interrupt reduction can improve CPU efficiency ifproperly tuned for specific network traffic. Increasing this value adds extralatency to frame reception and can end up decreasing the throughput of TCPtraffic. If the system is reporting dropped receives, this value may be settoo high, causing the driver to run out of available receive descriptors.
CAUTION: When setting RxIntDelay to a value other than 0, adapters may hang(stop transmitting) under certain network conditions. If this occurs a NETDEVWATCHDOG message is logged in the system event log. In addition, thecontroller is automatically reset, restoring the network connection. Toeliminate the potential for the hang ensure that RxIntDelay is set to 0.

Strip the CRC from received packets before sending up the network stack. Ifyou have a machine with a BMC enabled but cannot receive IPMI traffic afterloading or enabling the driver, try disabling this feature.
The Gigabit adapter driver for Novell NetWare ispackaged in the file E1000E.lan for PCI-Express adapters. To install the driver package and setup thedriver for a network adapter, use the following steps.
NOTE: Prior to installing, either load the DOS or NetWare drivers for your server's CD-ROM drive or create a floppy disk from the CD on a different computer. For more information, refer to the Make a Driver Disk section of this guide. From the NetWare console, type NWCONFIG for (NW5.x, NW6.x) and press .
From the Configuration Options screen choose Driver options, and press .
Choose Configure network drivers, and press . If any drivers are already loaded, a list of them appears.
Select an additional driver, and press . A list of drivers should appear.
Insert the CD or floppy disk you have created, and choose Install an unlisted driver by pressing . NOTE: To mount a CD, use cdrom.
If you're using a floppy disk, insert the disk in drive A: and press . If you have mounted the CD as a NetWare volume press , and enter the source path (PRO1001000:/pro1000/nwserver/).
The driver name is displayed: IntelPRO/1000e. Press to select it.
A prompt appears asking if you want to copy the driver. Select Yes and press .
The next screen asks for parameters for loading the driver. To modify any driver parameters or protocols, highlight Select/Modify driver parameters and protocols, and press . If you have multiple adapters, enter the slot number for the adapter you are currently configuring. When finished configuring the driver, select Save parameters and load driver to continue.
The DriverIdentifier is a tool that analyzes the system drivers on your computer. The utility reports if any new drivers are available, and provides the download files for the driver updates so you can install them quickly and easily.
I downloaded the driver "PROWin64Legacy.exe" from the Intel site and when I tried to install it I got the following message "The installed version of Intel(R) network Connections is not supported for upgrades. You Must uninstall it before installing this version."
Hi I am having the same issue but with intel 82566DC-2 Gigabit Network connection . It has a yellow triangle with !. I can not rollback to uninstall the driver, bc it's greyed out.
